Dave Collins

collinsDave Collins is a Professor of Coaching and Performance at the University of Central Lancashire, UK, and Director of Grey Matters Consultants. Previously he has worked as performance director of UK Athletics, and with over 60 World or Olympic medallists plus professional sports teams, dancers, musicians, and executives in business and public service. Built on 9 years of research work in Talent Identification and Development (TID), Dave consults with a variety of academies.

Jessica Fraser-Thomas

fraser-thomasJessica Fraser-Thomas is an Assistant Professor in the School of Kinesiology and Health Science in the York University. Her primary research interests are in positive youth development through sport – specifically how youth sport contexts can be better designed to facilitate children and adolescents' healthy physical and psychosocial development.


Arne Güllich

guellichArne Güllich is a professor in the Department of Sport science, in the University of Kaiserslautern. His research interests are the training structure in high-performance sport, support programs for high-performance athletes and sport organisations and sport development.

 

Gordon Bloom

bloomGordon Bloom is an associate professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education, in the McGill University. His research focuses on applying theoretical aspects of sport psychology research to enhance various factors affecting sport performance and enhancement. The two main topics of his interests are: 1. knowledge and leadership skills of team sport coaches, and 2. post concussion rehabilitation in athletes.


Juri Hanin

bloomProfessor Emeritus Juri Hanin at KIHU-Research Institute for Olympic Sports. He works with elite athletes and teams focusing on stress, emotions, communication, and optimal performance. His Individual Zones of Optimal Functioning (IZOF) model has stimulated a worldwide renewed interest in the role of emotions in athletic performance.



Geir Jordet

bloomGeir Jordet, PhD is currently an associate professor at the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences where he conducts research related to psychology, expert development, stress and football (soccer). In addition, he provides services to the Norwegian Football Association and the Norwegian Premier League. Bridging the gap between sport and business, he has applied his research and knowledge on coping with extreme pressure, expertise development, and talent development with elite athletes to top performers in business.
